Apple Tree

Tell a story about your family and that there is an apple tree in the backyard.

All kids draw an apple tree.

Explain that in your family you have 6 people and they are all greedy for apples but we need to share the apples fairly. Give each child counters and get the kids to have a go at sharing the apples. If there are any leftovers, put them in the compost heap?
