Ordering numbers

Using either 3,4,5 or 6 dice, roll all of the dice.

Create a number. write it down. Then roll the dice again.

Write down ten numbers that in between the two numbers you rolled in order from lowest to highest and highest to lowest.

Ext: Need to add decimals and fractions into the number between the two rolled dice numbers. Also order may go up or down by any mode of operation.

En: Three dice with both roles and teacher helps with coming up with numbers in between to put in order. They could also use concrete materials to help as well.

Three Teacher- problem solving question:

Ms Smith is 56 years old, Ms Chu is 49 years old. I know that Mr Taylor is older than Ms Chu. Ms Smith is older than Mr Taylor. How old might Mr Taylor be.
