Have a balance scale with a 1kg weight. 

Students find things in the room that might weigh the same and test as a class.

2 rotation activities

1. Lightest to heaviest. Students pick 5 objects from around the room and put them in order from lightest to heaviest. Draw

2. Playdoh models. Place 15 unifix on a balance scale and students have to make a playdoh model that is lighter/heavier/same as the unifix. Test
