Length Stem Challenge

Watch the procedure of making paper chains

STEM challenge – Using 1 piece of A3 paper. How can you work with a partner to  create the longest chain?

 

Show 2 different ways of measuring your chain informally – hands, shoes, unifix, 

 

Measure your chain formally using a 1m ruler or 30cm ruler

 

Create a class display to show the longest to smallest chain.
