Warm Up/Launch
Go outside to basketball court.
-students jump two feet together and say the numbers (2,4,6,8..) then try 5s, 10s who can get the furthest:
2s – to 20, 5s – to 50, 10s – to 100
Explore
Draw a number line with ruler.
Roll 2 x 6 sided die for
_ groups of _ =_.
Students use the first number to jump that number of spaces and the second time to count the number of jumps

ENA: provide number line and cards – groups of 2s, 5s and 10as only.
EXT: number lines to 100
