Use template to demonstrate

1.Roll 2 x 6 sided die. One is for the number of columns, one is the number of  rows.

2.Make the array with counters.

3.Record the equations in different ways

eg – if you roll a 3 and a 5

3 groups of 5 = 15

3 x 5 = 15

5+5+5=15

THEN FLIP

5 groups of 3 = 15

5 x 3 = 15

3+3+3+3+3=15

Stress that these are all ways of showing your thinking
