2D shape – Lines

Have a look at the Google slide page 1 and 2 going through parallel, perpendicular lines. Discuss briefly curves and straight lines too.

You do:

Follow the instructions on slide 3.

Enabling 1: Make 1 shape for each instruction.

Extending: Are there any perpendicular lines in your shapes? How many parallel lines are in your shape?

Create as many possible shapes with 2 curved sides and 2 straight sides	Create as many possible shapes with 7 straight sides and 7 vertices
Create as many possible shapes with 4 straight sides and 1 curved side	Create as many possible shapes with 3 straight sides and 3 vertices
