Discuss the KEYWORDS with ‘time’.

Think, turn and talk – how would you solve the displayed problems?

Go through the number line strategy to work out elapsed time.

Introduce our school daily timetable. Students attempt to work out the elapsed time in between each session.

They can then design their own school timetable (needs to have at least six sessions and a variety of times = not all o’clock).

Partner up to share timetables before sharing as a class.

EN: Students attempt to work out the easier times. Teach focus group.

EXT: Students design their own timetable with 10 sessions and include times to the min.
