Zoo Keeper- Measurements

Create “zookeeper helper stations” around the room:
Session 1

-Feed the Giraffes – must be 110 cm tall
-Wash the Elephants – must be at least 130 cm
-Hold the Snakes – must be at least 120cm
-Brush the Penguins – must be at least 100 cm

-Brush the monkeys 90cm

-Clip the zebras feet 150cm

Post signs at each station with height and picture of the animal.

Students measure themselves using a chosen tool (standard or non-standard).

They record their height on the sheet.

They “visit” each job station and compare their height to the requirement.
