Addition- Doubles
Doubles:
What the children do: In pairs, encourage the children to discuss various doubles they see in their environment. For example, they may see two front tyres and two back tyres on a car to equal four. The children may also see two rows of six seats in a classroom that equals 12. Encourage the pairs to write down their doubles discoveries to share with the class.
