Friends of 10/ 20 Memory

Use a deck of cards – you might start with 2 of each card A -10. If playing with 20 them all cards

Line cards in rows. 

Students take turns to turn 2 cards at a time. Do they add to 10? Model counting on from biggest number. If they add to 10 – student keeps both cards. If they don’t, how many more would you need??

Same idea for 20 but using all cards and multiple ways to make.
