Students use arrows and students work out what the number missing number is using the 100s chart.

 

up arrow means you go down 10

 

Down arrow you move up ten

 

forwards 1 and backwards 1

 

Start with the starting number and use the arrows to work out where you land. Start with three arrows to begin with.
