Grid Addition Game

CARD GRID ADDITION GAME

• Arrange playing cards (picture cards removed)  into a grid (8×4 works).

• Player one selects four cards (or six for 3 digit addition)  in a row in any direction and gives them to player two in two rows. 

• Player two needs to use vertical addition to solve them  e.g. 432 + 236 etc. 

• Player one checks the answer with a calculator. If correct player two gets a point.

• Repeat process for player one to solve problems. Play until all cards are used.

• Shuffle and repeat if time.
