Work in ability based pairs.

One of the pairs is the shopkeeper, the other is the buyer.

The shopkeeper starts with a whole. The buyer comes and takes some. How many are left. Use counters or mini shop items from Stacey.

Both pairs record this into three triangles then into a number sentence-
