How big is your head

Measure the circumference of your head with a piece of string/wool. 

Estimate how long  this  string is (using your fingertips as a unit of measurement from  fingertip to fingertip). 

Now measure how many cm it is on a tape measure or ruler – is it similar?

Now estimate how many times is it of your height in cm?  Is this the same with everyone in the room?

What did you find difficult?

Was everyone the same?

Did you feel comfortable using the ruler, tape measure?
