Watch Peg and Cat – Chicken Dance. Help the Chickens finish their dances.

Demonstrate using two different coloured counters. Make it into a simple pattern. Ask a child to come up and repeat the pattern. Now see if anyone can come up with a different pattern? Is there another way?

With your coloured counters come up with a pattern of your choice. 

Now collect 2 items from the garden into a brown paper bag. Place this into a pattern. This could be done outside on the basketball court.
