Pick a tray type. 

Decide how many rows and how many cookies in each row.

Draw an array or area model to show your tray.

Tip: You can present the tray in a different way:

• Example: 4 rows × 2 cookies = 2 rows × 4 cookies

• The total number of cookies stays the same, but the arrangement looks different

Double the tray for the next order. Draw the new array.

Keep doubling for at least 3 rounds.

Write how many cookies there are each time.
